GCS May 29, 2015 Dear Parents, We have just a couple things to remind you and students who will be attending the Commencement Exercises this Sunday at 2:00 pm regarding dress code requirements. The 7-12th grade men’s and ladies’ choirs will be singing in the program. This is a required activity. Guys: your attire should be dress shirt with a neck tie, dress pants and dress shoes. Gals: your attire should be modest, dress or skirt and blouse. We also want to make sure parents are aware that the school will provide lunch for students and staff on the last day of school. Students do not need to bring a lunch that day. We are looking forward to a great conclusion to the 2014-2015 school year. GCS STAFF
GCS May 27, 2015 Dear Parents: We want to remind you about events that will take place between now and the last day of school. This Friday we have a noon dismissal. Students do not need to bring a lunch as there will be no lunch break. Everyone is invited to attend the Commencement Ceremony Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 pm in the school auditorium. We have 7 students graduating this year. The high school and Junior High students will be part of the program in a boys chorus and a girls chorus. This is a required activity. Student singers, please dress up. Boys in Dress shirts and ties, dress pants, and dress shoes. You are invited to our Awards Program next Wednesday at 8:30 am. We will spend the afternoon completing service projects around the school and church building and grounds. Students should come to school dressed in normal school
The much anticipated calendar event is here. The Spring Program!!!! It is Thursday night at 6:30 in our church/school auditorium. The presentation is “The 7 C’s of History” written and directed by our 2nd/3rd grade teacher Jessica Riley. Thanks also to other staff for preparing our students to sing and speak! Our students have been working very hard putting on final touches this week. STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE BY 6:15 PM WEARING GOOD CHAPEL DRESS AND GO TOTHEIR CLASSROOMS TO GET READY FOR THE PROGRAM. All students are expected to attend.
