Any 6th through 12th graders not in basketball take note. If any of you have gone over your allowed absenses last semester or this semester already, or if you have any overdue work including Readmaster, you will have school Thursday and Friday. All elementary students have a regular schedule for those days (no changes).
Tuesday night our girls and boys teams will attempt to play into the 8 team tourney. Both teams will travel to Fridley to play Woodcrest boys and girls. The girls game is scheduled for 4:30 and the boys game for 6:00. The winners get into the 8 team tournament in Plymouth which begins on Thursday. The losers will play in the 3 team tourney also scheduled for this weekend in Fridley. GIRLS WILL HAVE PRACTICE FROM 1-3PM ON MONDAY AT NEW CREATION

Though the Lady Eagles lost to St. Francis Christian School, Ciara Guentzel put 9 three-pointers in the bucket in 17 attempts last Saturday morning at St. Francis. Thanks for the assists, and all the great help, team. The final score was 51-56. Nadine Zwart was back in her first full game since she broke her finger last December vs. Woodcrest. Lauren Ward was not able to make the trip, so we missed her helpful point and rebound averages. The “Twin Towers” were working hard and are improving each game. Our girls are looking to improve in rebounding and half-court and full-court defenses. The Eagles girls and boys teams will go toe-to-toe with Woodcrest this Thursday at the New Creation gym.
